This Brazilian choreographer and performer, who forms part of the contemporary dance movement that is taking place in Brazil and has participated in the renewal of South American dance, was trained in classical dance, jazz dance and street dances.
Vanilton Lakka brings the social and technological contexts of the cities at the beginning of this century into the universe of his subtle, physical and artistic dance, full of choreographic details and gestures, which is original in the way it spreads to other supports, namely to the new media, without this in any way diminishing the excitement of the spectacle or causing the choreographies to lose their human dynamics.
